Autumn Fair 2020
Visit our unique traders online
from 1st September to 30th November
This year we are bringing our annual Link to Hope Autumn Fair to you, all autumn long! We've put together a fantastic collection of handcrafters and not-on-the-High-Street traders to give you a unique shopping experience from the comfort of your own home.
Every one of these crafters and small businesses has donated to Link to Hope, and in return we kindly ask that you support them with your business. It's been a difficult year and we value your support more than ever. On behalf of Link to Hope and our Autumn Fair traders, thank you!
How do I shop?
We've set up tabs at the top of the page to help you find the different kinds of lovely things you are looking for.
Traders offering a variety of goods appear on more than one tab: we've listed traders who specialise in one category only higher up, and the rest in the order they registered with us - they are all fabulous and very different so do please browse them all!
Our traders are handcrafters and small businesses. Many sell at craft fairs and events and not all have online shops.
Our trader listings will let you know how you can browse and buy, whether it's a link to an online shop,
a listing of autumn events you may attend in person, how to order by (e)mail/phone or how to place a commission.
We thank you for shopping 'small' this year.
Each week we will shine a spotlight on two of our traders to tell you their story:

Super Scents with Sam
Animare are originators and designers of British handmade photo frame kits. Our aim is for our frame to be the first thing people notice when they walk in your room.
I joined Scentsy on a whim back at the end of May 2020. I saw some products a fried of mine posted on Facebook and I wanted to know more.
She put me in touch with a consultant and she offered me the opportunity to join the Scentsy family.
I did just that and haven’t looked back!
I’m so excited to bring you all that Scentsy has to offer.
The products are amazing – I am literally running out of plugs for all the warmers I’m collecting!
The warmers are spectacular – not only in design but in quality too. There are over 85 wax scents to choose from, so if you’re really not sure what to go for, speak to me about my Borrow Bag – I can lend you my bag with a warmer and some samples to try, as well as a full set of testers so you can try all the wonderful scents before choosing your favourites.
There’s also diffusers and oils, our luxurious body range, gorgeous fragrance flowers that look great anywhere as well as laundry and clean products that will fill your home with amazing scent.
We haven’t forgotten your little ones too – check out our awesome kids range and pamper your fur babies with our wonderful pet products.
You can shop on my page and products will be delivered directly to you, or you can message me on Facebook, email, Messenger or text to place your order.
I can send orders anywhere in the UK and can offer local delivery.

Bespoke cakes catering for any occasion, all homemade using fresh locally sourced ingredients
Growing up we were taught to bake. Nothing unusual, a Victoria Sandwich, a family adaptation of a Madeira cake, biscuits….
Children came along and I became aware of what was available. The novelty cakes piqued my interest and after a few failed attempts I discovered a lovely friend had this enviable talent and I persuaded her to show me how it was done.
I was hooked. And signed up for all sorts of cake decorating classes. I completed the PME certificates in cake decorating, Royal icing and sugar flowers. And achieved a Master’s certificate.
Using family and friends as guinea pigs, refining my skills and learning more techniques, I achieved the Level 2 certificate in Cake Decorating and finally took the plunge and started advertising my cakes. I cater for any occasion, weddings, christenings,, birthdays etc.
When ordering from me you have the opportunity to have a bespoke cake that you can even design yourself. I still continue to attend courses, learning new techniques and perfecting old ones. I also have a 5* hygiene rating from Bromley Council.

Link to Hope
All money raised from the Autumn Fair supports Link to Hope's Shoebox Appeal. It’s a really simple idea: we ask people to fill a Shoebox for a family – not just a child, containing items such as shower gel/shampoo, family games, stationery items, a gift for mum and dad as well as sweets, soft toys, hats, scarves, etc. The Family Shoeboxes of gifts are given to families who often have to make a choice between buying food or fuel at Christmas time – buying presents is just not a priority. Many of these families do not have running water, heating or electricity. Some live in appalling conditions, often living in just one or two rooms, and life for them is a real struggle to survive. Our annual Family Shoebox Appeal has been running since 1992 and has delivered smiles to thousands of people in Eastern Europe over the years. In fact, we have sent over 900,000 shoeboxes to hundreds of different locations! We also send special shoeboxes to the elderly, containing gifts such as reading glasses, sensory items and a wind-up torch.
We are passionate about rebuilding lives and communities in Eastern Europe through education and social care. Link to Hope’s aim is to combat poverty and give humanitarian aid and has special concern for the most disadvantaged. The poorest – especially people struggling to survive in poor villages that lack basic amenities. The most vulnerable – especially children and the most marginalised. The most exploited – the families and individuals who are at the mercy of authorities and circumstances that they have no control over. Link to Hope’s vision is that one day every person in Eastern Europe will have a safe environment to live in and access to basic healthcare, human rights, employment and education.
