Hi, I’m Ruth and in The Wood Wirkshop I turn wood into beautiful things! I specialise in pens, using a range of sustainable and reclaimed woods, resin and acrylic in different styles and designs. These make perfect gifts, or an addition to your own stationery collection. Whether you prefer a slimline acrylic, an organic wood pencil or rollerball or a fountain pen that exudes class, you can find it here at competitive prices.
I also make keyrings and accessories such as dog and luggage tags using the lathe and laser engraving for that personal touch. I enjoy experimenting with fusions of colours and materials, mixing what others might consider ‘scrap’ to create stunning new products - it’s the science teacher in me!
For the home, there are bottle openers, rustic bowls, cord pulls and decorations all made with an eye for the unique and interesting.
Wood is a fantastic material to work with - every piece has a story to tell and an individual figure to express.
